Jonathan Perrins
Jonathan Perrins has been involved in the steel-building-products and property-related industries since the mid-Eighties. Jon began the Steel Storage business in Brisbane in 1990. The business has now grown to include self-storage ownership in the United Kingdom, self-storage design, manufacture and construction in Australia, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
Jon lives in his hometown, Brisbane, after seven years in the United Kingdom developing the Steel Storage construction business across Western Europe.
He is the Executive Chairman of Steel Storage Holdings Pty Ltd and a board member of several other private companies. He was also involved with the first Self Storage Association conference in the UK and was Chairman of the Self Storage Association of Australasia, after contributing five years as a board member.
Colin Jeromson
Colin Jeromson was appointed CEO of Steel Storage Holdings in December 2012. Prior to this he was the Managing Director for Steel Storage Europe, a role he took on when joining the group in 2008.
Colin has over 20 years experience in the construction industry and before joining Steel Storage he spent 10 years with Schindler, the multi-national Swiss Elevator company. While there, he fulfilled various executive roles in several European countries.
Colin is a qualified engineer and holds an MBA from Bolton University (Manchester, England) and various management qualifications from IMD (Lausanne, Switzerland).
Rachel Steed
Rachel Steed was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Steel Storage Holdings in November 2012. Prior to this she was the Finance Director for Steel Storage Europe since joining the group in 2007, a role she now fulfils from our UK base.
Before this Rachel held senior financial roles at Liberata plc, one of the UK’s leading providers of business process services, where she worked for 12 years involved in many aspects of that industry including the operational integration of contracts and companies both from organic and transactional growth.
Rachel is a Fellow of the Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), one of the UK’s leading global bodies for professional accountants.
