The Drop Down is designed to be just that - a portable storage building that you “drop down” wherever you need it.

Many self storage sites have areas that are not designated for permanent building structures - easements for services, future access routes to other sites, road reserves and car parking areas not utilised.

Testing Storage Demand

The Drop Down can be used to test the storage demand before committing to a large project and can also be used for temporary use during renovations of existing sites.

All Drop Down buildings are manufactured on a skid base system that allows the buildings to be laid on reasonably flat land. Driveways can be constructed after installation using sealed surfaces or gravel.

Specification

The Drop Down comes in 2 standard widths - 2.4 metres and 3.0 metres - and a standard length of 6.0 metres. The buildings can be supplied in a variety of layout configurations to suit storage demand, and all units come with pre-painted cladding and roller doors.

Stormwater, electrical services, security alarms and cameras can be attached to the buildings.

The 2.4 metre width gives the option of moving the unit on a truck without special transport permits. The Drop Down unit can be easily relocated to another site.
