June 2007 - Steel Storage in Dubai for the Steel Storage Conference

Senior Management from Steel Storage offices the world over converged on Dubai in June 2007 for the Steel Storage Conference. Jonathan Perrins, Managing Director of the Steel Storage Group headed the summit which was also attended by Director Robert Gregg from Carnegie Wylie & Co. and Director Drew Douglas from Douglas Wenck, along with the entire groups Senior Management Staff. The Annual conference is held to develop strategic direction for each region and the group as a whole.

On the Agenda (besides strategic discussion and forums) was of course some extreme Dune Driving, sight-seeing and visiting our own construction project...Big Yellow (Dubai) which is being heralded as the world’s Largest purpose built self storage facility in the world! A highlight for those who attended was the sheer number of construction project sunderway in Dubai, with a reported 30% of the worlds supply of cranes in Dubai, its not unlikely to see up to a dozen high-rises under construction in a row!
