Steel Storage are proud to launch the self storage industry’s newest innovation – the CUBIX organisation system, a flexible system designed to maximise space available in customers’ units through a combination of two or three sided adjustable shelving systems and mobile trolleys. The system allows customers to access their goods safely and easily, the trolley maximises the remaining space. Non marking casters and safety handles make the trolleys easily manoeuvrable.
The launch of this new product comes at a time when many facility owners and managers are trying to maximise rental income without investing too heavily in expansion programs, due to the current economic climate. It offers facilities a competitive edge by offering customers a new unique premium unit service. It also adds value and greater earning potential per unit – now you facilities can sell cubic space, not just square foot space!
Take a standard unit. With the CUBIX system installed, the available space in that unit has effectively trebled allowing the customer to store additional goods and the facility owner to be flexible in their rates.
CUBIX is designed to give operators a bespoke solution individual to their facility, which means no more price reductions for units with mezzanine columns in them – CUBIX can be built around columns due to its flexible design resulting in a premium unit.
With operators such as Safestore and Big Yellow already using this product in some of their facilities, it won’t be long before customers begin demanding it across the country. Additionally, delegates at the AESS Conference and Trade Show in Seville at the beginning of November were able to see the product first hand on the Steel Storage exhibition stand creating a huge amount of interest and demand.
